Incontri Proibiti. La Seduzione (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I'm not sure what to rate this book, or even what I truly think of this book. The infidelity didn't even bother me. The whacked out medical theories did. When I am making the "wtf" face while reading the book, it's probably not erotic, or sexy, etc etc. The people comparing this book to 50 Shades, or the Crossfire series are pissing me off. They are nothing alike. Nothing. At all. I guess everything must be like 50 Shades now? That's all. I honestly didn't like this kind of 'romance'. This is so not my thing. The investigation Alex and her psycho doctor engage in is the most weak excuse to write pages and pages of an pathological and disturbing 'relationship' or whatever they call it. I didn't find it funny, or attractive or interesting. Doctor Psycho has some serious issues. The man only needed to start killing to become Patrick Bateman. Really. Him and Alex should so some therapy. Or maybe just lock themselves in some basement and experiment on them all those crazy theories - which is probably what they will do in the next installment. On the author: Indigo Bloome writes well and she has her way of keeping the reader interested. Points on her for that. The stars I give to this book is only concerning her writing skills, not the plot. So... I won't be reading the next one. To those who are fond of the genre - a mix of erotic/abusive/torturing plot, try it.
