This was a great read. I loved the characters. They seemed to be total opposites but not so much. I loved that in this book the female character knows that she does not want to be the person that her family wants her to be. She strikes out on her own and continues on her path to happiness. On the other hand the male characters thinks he knows what he wants but has a problem seeing it. The angel part of the story just completes the book. The writing just flows well and Shauna makes you invested in the story line and characters. This book was just fun!A bookish woman becomes the CPA for a tattoo artist and falls for the shops surly owner. Said surly owner starts to return her feelings but fights it the whole way. Little do they know there is divine intervention going on in the form of her client...who's really the angel Michael in disguise and there to help them fall in love.Did I mention she's already engaged to a Jr. VP at her fathers Accounting firm because she knows that's what her country club loving parents want? Or that his sexy, sultry ex still works at the tattoo parlor and constantly throws herself at him in front of her? They both have painful baggage but can they see past it to find happiness with each other? There were tons of laughs, lots of sexual tension and interesting extras in the two other couples that get paired up in this novel! Can't wait to read book 2 about Noble, another tattoo artist at the shop...and hopefully a revisit with Jed and Kyle!!!!
Could have done without the angel part. Seemed a little convoluted and unnecessary.
