The first in the Cheasapeake Shores series by this very prolific author of easy reading books about families and relationships. Very formulaic but still interesting enough to read before bedtime just because it requires very little thought -Once you get to know a family you do feel like you want to know more about them and so you become hooked into a series! She belongs in the same category as Debbie Macomber, Nora Roberts, Robyn Carr, Susan Wiggs, Luanne Rice et al...prolific and always with a captive audience of women looking for mindless reading. wonderful storyline awesome characters realized I had read it a few years back when I was about half way through chapter one again. Didn't finish reading a second time so that is the best review I can give you just know it had sister books not really a sequel just same town and some characters re-appear but that's my favorite kind of story where you might get a glimpse of your character at a later date when you encounter them by passing in someone elses story I mean isn't that sorta like life only better cause it's Fiction.
