Inn At Eagle Point, The: A Chesapeake Shores Novel (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
This is the beginning of a series of books about a small resort town on Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and the large extended O'Brien family who designed and built it. It is a feel-good family series, and this first book is a great start. We first meet Abby and her twin daughters as they return to help sister Jess open her newly-renovated inn. Her first love, Trace, returns also and of course romance blossoms. I love the warm and gentle feeling created by Woods as she develops the personalities of the family members and their relationships. This seems like a nice place to live. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series. Uzunluk zaman zaman yorsa da hikayenin geneli güzeldi. Zaten kötü olsa bırakırdım yarıda. Trace'i duyduğumda okuyanlardan daha çok sahne beklemiştim. Çok iyi bir karakter yazmış yazar, biraz daha fazla yer verebilirdi. Daha çok ailesi ile olan durumlara yoğunlaşmış. Tek eksisi fazla uzatmış dediğim gibi, okurken ona göre ayarlamak lazım. Benim gibi etrafınızda çok merak ettiğiniz kitaplar varken aklınız kayıp durur sonra :D
