This isn't my typical type of book I would read. It was recommended to my by my sister, so I thought I'd give it a try. Overall, I liked it. The chemistry was sparking from the beginning. Though, the couple, Katie and Cam, take a while to get on the same track. Even, though it seems to span over a long time, it was less than a month. Besides their story, you also see another couple, Annie and Nick, struggle to get their marriage back together. This is the first of a series, and even though it is mostly in the present, the author does through in some tidbits about their past, to help develop the characters you meet in this story. There are three brothers in all, plus an aunt. Annie, is the aunt, whom is the women of the secondary couple in this book. The other brothers are Stone and T.J. They own and operate Wilders Adventures. Both Katie and Cam survived a traumatic experience. They are dealing with the aftermath of their life-changing experiences. They have more in common, in that retrospect, than they are aware. Together, they help support each other and start to live life again. A great story about healing from the past. I feel for Cam, being so lost after losing the one thing in his life that he was extremely passionate about. Not being able to do that anymore, he comes home to the family business...a wilderness adventure company owned by him and his two older brothers. Enter Katie...straight-laced accounting and office manager that gets hired on at Wilder Adventures. She is there with the assurance that it is only temporary, for maybe two months or so. Just enough for her to have her adventure, and then she is going to keep going on somewhere else, as she tries to find her happy place. Great read, and I instantly fell for all of the Wilder boys.
What do You think about Instant Attraction (2009)?
A great first book in a series and can't wait to read the other two.
