I couldn't put this down. It wasn't because of the enthralling storyline or the masterful writing, it was because I had bet my friend I could do it. The typos that should have been fixed, mixed with the cringe worthy and predictable story made this bet really difficult. I find it hard to believe there are two more books. If she's willing to bet me a full dinner for the next one, I may just make it through. Purchased the book through my Kindle because the price was good but more importantly the reviews on the author were amazing! Amanda Hocking was a new and upcoming author at the time but was quickly becoming popular.By Blood Approves was an easy read. Thought provoking even. I have actually read the whole series twice now and still find it entertaining. Ms. Hocking is quite a talented author and I can't wait to read her newest creations!
