Interview With A Porn Star (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
Jason Luke build the story very well. It was interesting at first part until the moment they revealed their intentions to each other but I was so disappointed on how Jason Luke ended the story. I don't know though, or am I just looking for more romance from Rick and Connie. And I'm confuse with the sudden appearance of Roxy. If its a twist in the book. The twist is not great. LOL.I need to read other genre of book (I like erotic books though but after I read this I don't know where my brain go) The sex scenes are so explicit that I have to breath first before starting to read. It makes me dizzy. very detailed though.I love how Jason Luke interpreted "porn industry" in this book. It changes everything on how I look the industry before I read the book. As for me, I fall in love with Rick's character becuase I see how passionate Rick Cassidy in doing porn films, we share same passion in doing films but not porn for me. For Connie, I like how her perspective transformed towards the porn industry. It's very inspiring. LOL.I hope Jason Luke writes a sequel of this. And it focus on Rick and Connie's story. That's whatI'm looking for. This book is about exactly what the title suggests - an interview with a porn star!!!!Connie is a journalist who has been given the assignment of interviewing Rick Cassidy, the well-known, well endowed porn star for Infinity Magazine. When Rick meets Connie he can't believe she was chosen to write the article when her attitude and opinion of the porn industry is that it's seedy and disgusting. After convincing her to keep an open mind she spends the next few days following his life as a porn star.Before I continue let me just say this IS NOT a romance story! Don't read this expecting sweet words, declarations of love or a HEA. What you can expect though is a lot of sex (between the porn stars) and some witty and insightful banter between Rick & Connie.The sex literally reads like a porn movie, with each scene usually containing at least 3 people and quite a few with girl on girl action.While I enjoyed the writing style of Jason Luke and the story itself I didn't quite get the relationship between Rick & Connie in the end. As far as I can see this is a standalone so their relationship won't be delved into more in another book, so I can only assume the reader is meant to draw their own conclusion about where Rick & Connie stand with each other at the end of the book.Overall if you like steamy, descriptive sex scenes, a witty, intelligent & hot male lead and don't need a HEA then I would recommend you give this book a try :)
