Isn't It Romantic? (2004) - Plot & Excerpts

A REALLY A BIZARRE STORYLINE, I LOVED IT, EVEN IF A BIT UNBELIEVABLE. IT REMINDED ME OF ONE OF THOSE ZANY ROMANTIC COMEDY MOVIES. A VERY QUICK READ BUT I LOVED THE CHARACTERS CODY & KIPLING, THEIR NAMES WERE SO CUTE. THOUGH A SHORT BOOK, THE CHARACTERS WERE WELL DEVELOPED, I WISH THE BOOK WERE LONGER. I GUESS WITH THIS TYPE OF STORY IF IT WERE LONGER LENGTH, WOULD HAVE DETRACTED FROM THE SWEETNESS OF THE BOOK. I THINK SOMETIMES IN BOOKS ITS NOT THE LENGTH BUT THE QUALITY OF THE STORY ITSELF. SOMETIMES AUTHOR'S FORGET THAT AND GET WAY TO REPETATIVE IN A BOOK THAT SHOULD HAVE ENDED ABOUT 100 PAGES BEFORE. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK IT WAS PERFECT FOR ME IN EVERY WAY AND THAT'S A KILLER COVER TOO. WOW!!! 3.5* Cute novella. I really like the way Ms. Fisher writes her characters. I'm looking forward to reading her full length novel to see if she continues to develop the characters throughout the book. This novella is too short to feel like we've gotten to know them very well. The storyline here is sweet and sometimes funny, but not unusual or new. Both novellas I've read by Ms. Fisher have good sexual chemistry and well-executed love scenes.

What do You think about Isn't It Romantic? (2004)?

Cute. Definitely one where you have to suspend reality but cute.
