2,5* and half a * for the delicious picture :-)This is another example why writing a really good short story is an art form! I love me a good enemies to lovers story, especially if a good groveling scene is part of it. I'm a sucker for a good groveling scene! Well, the problem with this story was that I never really got why Elliot hates Jack, we are just being told so (apart from the conflict scene). Would have loved to see at least one encounter in the beginning between these two which explains Elliot's animosity. The conflict then is never really resolved in my opinion. I can imagine the same happening again especially because the two of them didn't really sort out what they'll be to each other in the future but just jump into bed for make up sex. 2.5For me this was a hot read, no doubt. But while at first it seemed like it was going to be a pwp-albeit a very scorching one, it later turned into a drama scene and then the make up scene too fast by turns. I'd have liked to get to know the characters better, and Jackson really lost some points there at the end, so their coming together didn't really give me a squee, or a swoon, or even an aww.
