Jak Nie Umrzeć. Opowieści Patologa Sądowego. (2008) - Plot & Excerpts
This book was both educational and humorous, as she shared stories from her many autopsies she's preformed on people----from natural death, to plain stupidity, and even suicides and infant deaths. What I liked most about the book was after each case was discussed she gave you tips on "how not to die" from whatever the chapter discussed. I hope she writes another book, I would surely read it! I read this because I had exhausted my supply of Dr G episodes on Really and wanted some more cases to get my teeth into. On that front I was rather disappointed. The book is engagingly written in the Dr's usual casual but informative style so it is enjoyable to read, however the cases described are almost all ones that have been seen in television program. That said she adds some compelling statistics, some nice autobiographical details I hadn't heard before and the final chapter on mental health was particularly enlightening and interesting to read.

I'm learning that lifestyle choices and habits of behavior can prevent premature trips to the ME.
