John Green Box Set: Looking For Alaska / An Abundance Of Katherines / Paper Towns / The Fault In Our Stars (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
John Green is an amazing author. Read his books. I loved Paper Towns and The fault in our Stars the best, of all his books. Next in line is Looking for Alaska and then An Abundance of Katherines. Green has an amazing understanding of his target audience and caters to them accordingly. Each of his books presents intellectual concepts as well as romance which makes it a good read for any group of teenagers. In the amazing book THE ABUNDANCE OF KATHARINE'S author John Green presents the story of a boy named Colin dealing with the heartbreaking loss of being dumped 19 times by all girls named Katherine. He learns to deal with his loss of being the dumped by going on a road trip to who knows where with his best friend Hessan. They end up in a small old town called Gunshot and meet a girl named Lindsey. Her mother, one of the richest people in Gunshot, takes them in and giving them the job of learning the history of Gunshot. Colin, Hessan, and Lindsey discover the history of Gunshot. Colin tries to control his heart from falling in love with Lindsey from the fear of being broken hearted again. This book appeals to me logically. I take every piece of information in this book and try to apply it to my own circumstances. From learning to deal with depression and anger inside my mind, to learning to take and use math to every problem in life. I mostly do this with every piece of information I receive, using it as an advantage to my own life. This book helps describe and put you in the place of a prodigy boy with a broken heart, searching for love.
