Just Friends With Benefits (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
This is a quirky book about Stephanie, her past and coming to terms what she needs in her life. We all have that one moment in our life where we feel we let the one man we wanted... and we let them go. Stephanie is dealing with that and wants to try to not let him go again.....This book is filled with laughs, lots of drinks, amazing lines from her mother... OMG... "fuck buddy" lmao! I laughed out loud at that moment! If you like a book with tons of great men, fabulous friends and finding oneself in a sense... you'll enjoy this book!4 stars from me. This is by far the best of the books by Schorr. It was well balanced and paced. It delivered exactly what I expect out of a chick lit book without reading like a carbon copy of another story or trying too hard to be like another story and failing. I easily took to the main character, and rooted for her happiness. There were parts that were laugh out loud hilarious, and my face even got a little damp nearing the end. The lack of a perfect score is do to some word/descriptive choices that jarred me from the story. If Schorr writes a forth novel I hope that it's more reflective of her first work than her second and third, "Just Friends With Benefits" hit every note with grace and a little sass.
