This is the 6th book in this series I've read and while I like the premise of it the similarity of every storyline and couple in the series so far is pushing me to skip segments of the story.Shareem meets virgin woman. Insta-lust in both parties. Shareem convinces virgin to experiment with him. Lots of sex. Weak secondary storyline that keeps throwing them together until they have their HEA.As I said, I love the premise, the setting, even the characters (sort of) but the conflict between the characters doesn't live up to its potential and lack of trust between the characters is too easily overcome. I foundg the lack of depth to the BDSM elements (it was almost like these elements were thrown in to "spice" up the sex scenes) & emotional journeys of the characters disappointing. If you like sci-fi that's a light read with erotic romance & lots of sex scenes, then this is the series for you. I have been a longtime fan of the Shareem books and I don't know how this one slipped by me. I really need to re-read the series.Like many of them, this book was funny and heartbreaking. I really enjoyed meeting many of the couples/triples from previous books. The only thing I didn't care for is when they switched dom/sub roles. I'm not comfortable with the male as the sub.I will definitely keep a closer watch on this series to make sure I don't fall behind again.
