For me this book was only 3 stars for a few reasons.. It was way too short if the author would have taken the time to really create the story it would have been really good. It needed back story it needed more character develop and questions answered.. Now there were some typos and grammar issues but nothing as bad as what I read in the reviews from others so I assume corrections were made (?).. This book was so fast paced it left me wanting a lot and now I have to find something w some meat to be satisfied.. I wanted a quick read but not that quick where I felt whiplash from the story's pace.. I did however like the story and Demon was an awesome alpha male :) and Clytie wasn't that whiny female which was great but I really needed MORE so much more!! I won't be reading the other books at least not anytime soon I just read this, I think for the fourth time. It is one of my all time favorite shifter stories.I totally, completely, without equivocation, love, love, love these 2 characters!! And the supporting cast totally rocks too.If you have not had the sublime pleasure of reading one of Kelly's books, please, you have got to give this one a try. Believe me, you will not regret it.Now I'm off to go reread the next one in the series.
