This book has more actions and lets you see more behind the major players in the series.By the end, you see really where each character is at and who and what they are after.I will admit that I have a trust thing going on with Rick....I'm still not totally convinced but by the end of this book I feel that I may be starting to warm up to him a little.I do not like leaving the book of light somewhere else other than Grateful's house....it makes me nervous. It gives me a bad feeling when this book is done and it's still not bad in it's rightful place. MUCH improved over the first book in the series without any time gaps or obvious twists and turns..The main character grew some credibility as her moral compass was found (thank goodness) and she make some decisions that garnered a great approval rating. There were still a few moments where I wanted to strangle her and though she needed to take action rather than take the wait and see, or do it later approach but thankfully it all worked out in the end.I'll definitely read the third book in this series.
