This is my first book by Lindsey Brookes. I liked it a lot. I laughed so hard and I cried. Caitlin runs Stoney Brook a camp for troubled teens. Brandon Barnes owns the camp and he is planning to shut it down and sale the property. Caitlin calls and calls and calls Brandon to stop the sale. She comes up with a plan to Kidnap Brandon to make him see reason.Dalton Barnes is in town in Brandon's truck. Caitlin kidnaps Dalton. This is when the fun begins. Caitlin messes everything from the beginning. Dalton is a good sport about everything and agrees to help her save the camp.I would like Brandon to get his own book. This was a very cute romance. The whole kidnapping was funny. I liked the fact that this wasn't insta-love. While there was an almost immediate attraction between the MCs, they took some time getting to know each other before reaching their HEA. For those that care, there not a lot of gratuitous sex or foul language. But that's ok, the story was entertaining enough where I fell in love with Caitlin & Dalton anyway.
So painfully simplistic. The chick was super bimbo. Kinda cute, but... painful.
