Noah and Georgina have known each other for a long time, most of their lives really. But when something happens with Georgina and Noah is the one to save her life, their relationship changes. After being away from home recovering, Georgina returns to find that things have changed. While her family treats her different, she finds she can be herself with Noah. She also discovers she has feelings for him and Noah is fighting his own feelings. Eventually they are able to admit their feelings to each other and work on starting a relationship while Georgina also deals with her personal problems. I found Kill Devil Hills to be a quick read and I fell for the characters fast. There are a few things that strike your emotions, but mostly it is just a sweet love story between two people who finally found the person they needed, their soul mate. I can't wait for the next book in the series and hopefully catching up with Noah and Georgina. Noah has always been a fixture in Georgina's house while she was growing up, but they never paid much attention to each other. Georgia is 18 and busy with her social life, and Noah is 24 and Georgie's older sister's best friend. Then Georgie's older brother dies and she decides she wants to join him. Fortunately, Noah finds her just in time. The story continues as Noah and Georgie's relationship continues to develop. I loved all of the characters in this book and I'm excited that it's the first in a series! I loved Georgie and her family. I'm hoping that the next book will be about her sister, and Noah 's best friend, Ellie. I also liked Ellie and Noah 's roommate, Rhett. This story had so much emotion in it! Dealing with Georgie's brother, Ben's, death, and then also dealing with her suicide attempt was so emotional! I also loved the chemistry between Georgie and Noah, and the easy friendship between Ellie and Noah. The writing was so easy to read and had a nice flow. I can't wait to read more from Sarah!ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
