I have read the book Killer Pizza by Greg Taylor in October. I have chose this book to read because when I had read the summary of the book I had thought it would be interesting to read. Since it was close to Halloween, I decided to read this book since it was considered a horror story and plus I like horror books. This book is about a 14 year old kid named Toby and he secretly wants to become a chef when he is older. Well, it was summer break for him so the closest thing that he could get was a job at a place called Killer Pizza. Little did he know that his boss Harvey was testing Toby and his friends over the past 3 weeks to see if they were worthy enough to become monster hunters to protect their city. Of course it was a hard decision to make for them but they end up training and learning to defeat the guttatas. They did have to keep it a secret with anyone else.I would suggest this book to people who like horror books. Although this wasnt that scary, it was intense. I did like this book very much because it was so different than a lot of others that I have read. My last thought is that when they worked at making pizza’s, I just got so hungry because the pizza’s they made sounded very good. The best part is that at the end of the book there is a recipe for an amazing pizza. 3.5 stars out of fiveExtra .5 for the title which is the only reason I picked up this book in the first place.Lol.this book is like a greasy, cheesy, pizza that you picked up on your way home because your tired and don't want to cook.Satisfying and easy this book was a great break from Great Expectations, which sucks, and Camus which sucks too, but a lot less. There were a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies throughout the book but I didn't particularly care while reading it so long as they weren't blindingly bad.A funny and light read with an amusing premise that's great for a lazy Saturday morning.
