WOW a very good book by an author I will be spending more time with. This story was well written, the characters interesting. Jayde was an amazing heroine that you could not help but fall in love with. She was strong, feisty, smart and very loving. It is not often that I find a heroine was I really like and Jayde proved to be one without all the drama and " I-don't-need-a-man" theme going. She wanted Tyson and she got him. This story could have dealt a little bit more with the ex, Carrie, and Jayde's family drama. Also I felt that the action part of the story didn't hold my interest, I was wanting Tyson to show me what a badass Seal he could be but this never came through.Overall a good book, I am looking forward to reading book 2. 4.5 stars max! I totally loved this book. It had me in love and in suspense and action. Yes, I did put the emphasis in the and. But it was great, Tyson, dreamy how he loved Jayden can be my protector anytime. Jayden, go head mama! I am proud of you to, for standing up to your family. I was in my seat while reading with anxiety, wondering what if... OMG, what's going to happen, I didn't want to spoil it for me, I was enjoying both character every step of the way. How two different persons can connect regards of race and color. This book open your eyes, that even though everyone was raised in different cultural, there is no discrimination in love. Bravo to Ms. Burke, for a well written story. Thank you.
What do You think about Kincade's Rose (2009)?
Old school Aliyah Burke and I loved it. This couple weathered the test of time.
