I would have given this book three stars as the author provides a lot of good information. However, several times he presents ideas and never follows through with them. For example, while he is writing about a program called caliber he mentions several things the program is capable of doing for the Kindle and either starts to delve into it and never finishes or never picks his thought back up again and the book just ends. He starts to explain another program and then suddenly stops. Like I said, the author does present some good information but lacks in his follow through. I'm not a Kindle book freebie novice...or so I thought.Since I purchased my first Kindle Fire in November 2011, I have loaded up my Kindle with book freebies. I use the top 100 listed on Amazon. As anyone who has perused this list knows, these books are very hit or (much more likely) miss. My best takeaway from Kindle Buffet was the author's website which provides daily top freebie picks. The author, overall, comes up with better books than those that randomly make it to Amazon's top 100 list.The other nice find for me was the option to download free newspapers, which I did not know was possible.Pick this up while it's free. Even long-time Kindle owners will find some useful tidbits.
