I never try to rate book so low, but I ready this book over and over and just could not help myself. So my apologies to the author, I know is never easy to know that someone doesn't like your book. (In my opinion) the book was waayyyy to short. I've heard of short stories but this is shorter and a short story. Maybe I just didn't get it, the character didn't know of human culture but I seemed like even when they did their research they still had no knowledge of anything. Everything was out of place and backwards. It was just to corny for my taste. Maybe better luck next time. Very funny, just way too short.Najarni is king of the purple dragons, and his wife (Tara) is from the human realm. For her, he had his men study the Christmas holiday and bring back items to decorate the palace for the holiday celebration. They brought trees, and a goose. When she sees the goose, she gets upset and gets him to not kill Roger the goose. The problem is that he thinks it's a roger, not a goose. Then the guards start singing carols. The problem is that they learned them from a stripper bar. They start singing and grabbing themselves. He tells them to stop, and they stop so suddenly that one accidentally knocks over one of the trees and starts a fire. In the comotion, the guard protecting the goose, sets it free so it doesn't catch on fire. Then the goose starts attacking people and eventually pecks Najarni in the butt. Lots of laughs. Just picturing grown men cowering from a goose (as most people do) even though they can change into a dragon made me laugh. And picturing a congo like line of soldiers singing a lewd "Jingle Bells" made me laugh too.
