This book was fast, fun and kept me smiling (until the wee hours of the morning)! Super cute story about Poppy and Swaggart. I could envision a fun, hometown setting for Good 'ol Days. I liked the characters & enjoyed that the other love interest didn't turn out to be a jerk, or psycho; he just wasn't the right fit for Poppy. I had to keep from flipping to the back of the book to see who she ended up with. As I love me a happy ending, I was absolutely thrilled with the conclusion of this book! There were a few writing elements that kept it from being 5 stars, but overall it was fabulous. If you love clean, sweet romance - this book is for you! I had one of Marcia Mclures books recommended to me & decided to try it out. But it was gone from the library, so I decided to try another book by her. My thoughts on her?It was a clean romance. Had some cute spots in it & I liked her characters. A few super sappy moments meant to make women sigh. (just silly to me & I usually laugh through them) If you like romance books I would recommend her because there wasn't a bunch of junk in it. And it had enough content to make you want to finish it.So here is my dilemma~ I like romance books ok but they tend to be a little too much for me. They are too over the top. I guess I am just tired of them & content with the real romance in my life. lol I think I need to stop reading this genre.
Cute, cute, cute!! Marcia Lynn McClure continues to amaze me! Love her books!
