Kissing My Old Life Au Revoir (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I really, really tried to finish this book, because of all the great reviews... but I couldn't get past 40% of it, and that was me being persistent (1 whole week), because I don't like to give up on a books, normally I plow through them anyway. I'm not sure we read the same book???? I definitely don't agree with the reviews that gave it 4 or 5 stars. This book was so boooooooring!!! It dragged, and it was lame. I kept falling asleep, when I should be ready. Sorry, but this is my negative review!!! Thank goodness it was a free download. I was lucky to be able to work on Kissing My Old Life Au Revoir by Eliza Watson during the editing stages, and I’m excited to bring you my review today! Let’s dive right in…This book was great fun to read! The story starts off right away with a ton of intrigue, and it only gets better from there. I enjoyed the story between Samantha and her wild-child sister, and the other family issues (and secrets) they must work through. It was nice to Samantha as an independent woman with a career-mind, and her journey with her company was interesting – and frustrating at times – to read about. I loved the Paris setting, the mysterious hottie neighbor, and how fast-paced the book could move. One to read!
What do You think about Kissing My Old Life Au Revoir (2013)?
This was a cute fun read. I didn't love it, but it did keep me fairly interested.
