The storyline was promising. But as it's scandinavian crime and the cover promises the most terrifying thriller ever, this one had much higher expectations than what were fulfilled. Yes, there was some thrill but just the psychological kind. You get to know the way the characters function, and apart of the husband of Ylva who's missing, none seem really interesting. All the time you'll be waiting for something more to happen. Fine, I'm more in the mood for actual action (like deaths and investigation, not just descriptions of how a body part is inserted to someone else's body part) than this "psychological thrill".(I know, nearly 2 months to read this one? Started it, moved house, finished something else, found this book, finished it).Take it or leave it.... 2.5 * Eigentlich hätte das Setup viel Potential, aber der Autor nutzt es überhaupt nicht. Hier werden Handlungen aneinandergereiht, aber die Motive und Gefühle der Charaktere bleiben völlig im Dunkeln. Warum warten Marianne und Gösta 16 Jahre, bis sie ihrem Rachefeldzug starten? Was empfindet Ylva ihrem Gefängnis? Zumindest eine der beiden Seiten hätte Koppel besser ausarbeiten können. Daher nur zwei Sterne.
What do You think about Kommer Aldrig Mer Igen (2011)?
This had potential but I didn't like it. Not recommended.
