This neat little narrative forced me to spend time with people that I wouldn't usually hang out with. In this case, it was a child star who is a little overly concerned with stomach flub and listening to adults. I hope this book was well researched because I think about it whenever Beiber or one of those crazy kids does something ridiculous. The mindspace of a childstar is so far removed from my reality and Wayne made it an interesting place to visit. I've decided that any book that gets me to the end is worth at least 3.5-4 stars since I abandon those that don't get me past the first 100 pages. I almost abandoned this one but I'm glad I didn't. Written in the voice of the 11-year-old protagonist, this is the story of a Youtube wonder with his manager/mother on his second record tour. It's funny and clever but there's very little forward motion. Still, I'm glad I stuck around.
Deceptive in its pacing and plot, this novel captures a range of voices and emotions masterfully.

This was tons of fun and a poke at tween celebs (Justin Beeber comes to mind)

Really good. Life as a child entertainer told from the Bieber perspective.
