This book was hard for me. I stopped every fifty pages because it was very dry, but after quite a few pages like 150ish it picked up. The last two hundred I couldn't put it down. Unfortunately, it took to long to get into it. I would recommend it for someone who likes to read books with world ending challenges. I ended up liking the end that I bought the dawnkeepers which I believe is the second book. Happy reading. I went into this book thinking that I probably wasn't going to like this one as it sounded too much PNR and less UF which I prefer. In the first two chapters I knew I was right. Any book that starts with a plot where the kidnap victim has to have sex with a complete stranger she has never even spoken to or she is going to die just puts me right off. Sex in these books is fine if it fits into the plot but I hate random sex for the sake of putting in random sex and that is what this felt like to me. It was obviously not going to appeal to me so I abandoned the book.Readers who like a book with lots of sex in it will probably be able to write a more balanced review of this book.
