This was a fantastic read. Maberry really is the king of the zombie genre. He created this wholly original idea involving zombies and it was just so good. It had a lot of action, good cop banter, and very good character. I love how Jonathan Maberry can take a creature as old as a zombie and create something new and original out of that old idea - it is really astounding to me how good, and definitely underrated Maberry really is. 5/5 stars. great read.
