3.5 starsThe main character is the same as in the first book but his characteristics and behaviour are changed. I liked the idea in the beginning of the story but the next meeting with the seraphin was strange and the action behind it, too. I think I don´t like stories that are connected to any religion or based on something connected to religion...I wouldn´t say the story was bad, nothing like that.. It was fine but just not my taste.. While decently paced, I found it difficult to stay interested and involved in this one. It was recommended by a fellow Anne Rice fan who unfortunately did not know about my atheistic views, and while it was more-or-less a well written book, (I found at least four spelling and/or grammar issues in the hard cover edition,) I found myself racing to get through it so I could start something else.
What do You think about La Prueba Del ángel (2011)?
The only good part of this book is Anne Rice's leopard clad author photo in the back.

I was disappointed in this second book, expecting more from Ann.
