La Ragazza Di Charlotte Street (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
This was a fun little read. (although it was a bit long-winded so perhaps "little" is not the best adjective.) Charlotte Street is about Jason Priestley (not THAT Jason Priestley) who really needs to figure his life out. He's fledgling through his days. After a brief meeting with a girl who could possibly be the one - he embarks on a wild goose chase of sorts to find her again. He takes along a few friends (or rather they take him) on his quest and meets a few new friends on the way. It is a times laugh out loud funny, a little endearing, (a little long), and quite enjoyable. Also: takes place in London, so it's charming as well.*it's been a while since I read it but I am fairly certain there is some strong language in this book. Not lots, but some. Sweet. The novel dragged on a bit, quite more than a bit, but worth getting through to reach end of the story. Jason makes plenty of mistakes (and you can't help but think, when is this guy going to get his act together!! and his friend Dev is a little annoying sometimes), but Danny Wallace writes many truths that most people can relate to. I know I did. And I loved the ending. Satisfied readers like me I'm sure.
