Not necessarily, this is a series. Nice story. Another entertaining Pali Moon story! Once again Pali is accidentally embroiled in a murder mystery, except this time she is hiding out on Lana'i in a witness protection program. This was much lighter than the previous 2 stories, lacking the sense of danger that had been in them, however there in this novel there is still a parade of eccentric, likeable characters and the relaxed Hawaiian attitude to life that we have come to expect from JoAnn Bassett's tales. A pleasant undemanding read for a Saturday afternoon.
