I enjoyed the previous book in this series so I decided to read the next one. Just as entertaining as the first one. The girls, Maddie and Eve, get themselves into lots of tangles, close encounters with the law, and then the ghosts and witchy things. It's nice to read the books in order, just because the characters grow from one book to the next and you have an understanding of the background of the characters. But this isn't a requirement. Fashion and crime solving all in one story. It was a fast read once I was able to get interested in the story line. The plot is similar to the first book, while the details were different and the characters were expanded. There were comedic moments periodically throughout the book which helped lighten dark moments in the story and brought a smile to my face. Overall a good book but not one that sticks out to me.
What do You think about Larceny And Lace (2009)?
I can't take the "fabric" versions of swear words. "Oh scrap!". Other than that, entertaining.

I so hate Eve. Seriously, the whole series would be better without her.
