Where the fuck am I? A sound beside me caught my attention and I rolled over to find Lizzie sleeping peacefully beside me. Fuck. Carefully sliding out of bed I hunted for my clothes and pulled them on quickly. I sat on the edge of the bed and slipped on my sneakers, praying she wouldn’t wake up. She stayed perfectly still and I breathed a sigh of relief. Walking out of the bedroom, I closed the door quickly and stood in the hallway for a moment. I ran my fingers through my hair and considered what I was about to do. I’d gotten drunk, fucked a waitress and now I was bailing. Yeah, that pretty much summed it up and the worrying thing was that I didn’t feel bad about it either. In fact, I felt pretty good. Sneaking out of the apartment I jogged down the stairs to the street and began the twenty minute walk back to the bar, all the while hoping my baby was still as perfect as I’d left her. As I turned the corner I spotted her, gleaming and as sparkly and impeccable as I had left her.
