League Of Denial: The NFL, Concussions And The Battle For Truth (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
Superbly researched. This books first chapter will grab you and explain how we got from Mike Webster's excruciating mental, and physical decline - to its conclusion where at the time, the NFL has bought off players with a settlement, which remains in suspense, AND DOES NOT include Webster's family since his death predates the terms of the settlement. To those who say the players knew what they signed up for, your right when it comes to knees, backs, or shoulders. But you're wrong about the essence and very spirit of these men, who were indignantly robbed of their identities and essence of living by playing the game they loved. Just read this book.

Enjoyable, if a bit longer than it necessarily needed to be.
