What can I say, I love Levet. He is absolutely my most favorite character in Ivy's writing. Now, he gets most of the spotlight. While the story focuses on Levet's journey to confront his family in Paris, Ivy also delivers a smoldering new couple...nymph Valla and vampire clan chief Elijah. Of course, Levet wins the ladies hearts but he also faces the torments of his past. I loved the insight into Levet but was thankful it was not a Levet's descriptive love story. This was a short exploration into Levet's past. Giving you a taste to hold you over until we get more from the Guardians of Eternity series. Short, sweet and to the point. I adore Levet and although everyone seems to have been disappointed that the romance in the book wasn't between Levet and Yannah I have to disagree. This is what Levet does... he helps these poor shmucks see what fools they are and gets the couples together. I like the chase between him and Yannah and wouldn't change it. Although short I was thrilled to have an update on the girl from the slavers that was left behind by the hunter.
I love levet. he is my favorite character in these books. it was a cute quick read.
