Libère Moi (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

Whoa, is the only word I can think of at the moment to describe this book. It is certainly a rollercoaster of a book.It is a super scorchio read, and I want me a bit of Reid & Jace action. Don't be fooled though, it is a very gritty read with a strong storyline. As for the twists, well I correctly suspected one of them, but some of the other ones totally threw me for a loop, did not see those ones coming at all. However, that just made this book so much better, the intricacies that were interwoven so finely and subtly. Once you start, you won't want to put this book down.I'm a Kindle Freebie Whore, so picked this up for free, and at the time of writing this review it is still free in the Kindle store. So grab yerself the ultimate bargain a bloody excellent book for free, you won't regret it. I for one will definitely be purchasing more books by this author. That list of new favourite authors just keeps getting longer. In total honesty, I genuinely had no freaking idea that this book is about BDSM. I didn't. I'm one of those people who rarely read the back of the book. Let alone reviews. Even the cover didn't hint me that well. So, I was bewildered when the book starts with sex scene like oh ok that's a bit intense for an introduction and then it went on and on from one sex scene to another. Because it was written in timeline pov which one chapter is a "now" and the next is a "then". So it was like sex then and sex now lmao. There wasn't that much of a story in between. It's there but just 30% of the book? Idk there are some stuff that I wasn't very fond of. I think it's disrespectful and somehow irresponsible for them to make out in the public. I understand if it's just a light make out session but when it involved nakedness from either side, it's just nope. Not sexy anymore. Like get a room please. And then there's that threesome. Hmm Brynn went to Jace to get help to get into The Ranch and in the middle of all that confusion she was also thinking hm I don't mind fucking Jace too. Like that is so nonparallel to what's happening at the moment. You should be confuse and scared but oh well why not like ??? The author could at least made her think about Jace that way some other time. The introduction to the idea of there might be a threesome scene in this book is too forceful. Speaking of which, I never thought Brynn would agree to the threesome given her condition and history but oh well what do I know right tsk.

What do You think about Libère Moi (2013)?

Okay . . . so I'm not crazy about threesomes. I avoid books with those. But it seems that Roni Loren digs threesomes because this is the second book I've read of hers and the second one that has threesomes. However, I must say that she deals with threesomes in a way that didn't make me shudder and skip all those parts. So, the woman is gifted in the way she can sugarcoat something I usually don't care to read about.Apart from that, I enjoyed this book. This is one in a series of books that takes place at The Ranch, a BDSM retreat for very rich and powerful people around the Dallas, Texas area. The hero in this one was in a threesome in the first one -- Jace. And he's an interesting guy. The whole premise -- Jace meets up with a girl he made love to 10 years ago when she was a foster kid staying with his family and he realizes he still has feelings for her. She, in turn, never stopped loving him, but circumstances made her run away and now circumstances keep her from allowing herself to imagine a future with Jace. The complications and conflicts -- not to mention the hot sex -- kept me turning the pages and wanting to know more, more, more. It was very satisfying.Ms. Loren has a wonderful way with words and phrases. Her dialogue is believable and memorable. She tugged at many emotions and made me care for these characters. That's the sign of a good book!On to the next one of hers . . . guess I'm hooked. I just hope there isn't a threesome in that one, too.

I love this book! The story was about Brynn LeBreck who went to The Ranch (A BDSM resort) to find her missing sister with the help of old friend/flame Reid Jamison. They first met 10 years earlier but several things happened that made them hated each other’s guts. The chapter alternates between then (10 years earlier) and now. I thought the writer did an amazing job in blending them seamlessly and revealing the characters pasts. There were some romance and some mystery and heartbreaks in between. Compared to other erotic romance books I’ve read, Crash Into You didn’t have as much sex scenes, but it made up by the quality. It was well written, sensual and sexy, not at all crude. My favorite scene was definitely the melted caramel scene. Yum…

A bit racy for me in parts but I still found it an enjoyable read
