I enjoyed reading about Lily and Drake and their scattered relationships and thoughts. The only part that I really didn't enjoy was the ending that felt a little too rushed, plus when I was reading on the Kindle app it ended at about 70%ish and I was expecting so much more and it was over. That was a little weird and I wasn't a big fan of that.Lily and Drake grew up in households that were extremely close. Their parents were best friends and then of course, as children, they were always together. Their parents couldn't see a better match in anyone else for their children. Because I had my own childhood crush/lust factor, this story resonated so much with me. Unfortunately, we didn't have the ending this couple did- or even some of the more interesting plot twists. There is a point where Lilly has to make a choice between Drake and the guy she was seeing. He was the safe choice and Drake was the choice where your mind is just screaming "DON'T DO IT!!!" but your heart just cant get it together with it. I think that is also something most people can identify with too, because it just happens- mostly when you least expect it.At one point there was an accident and all I could think was "oh I hope this isn't one of those tear your heart out books" because I love those, I truly do but you have to be prepared or expecting it for it to be what I really want. But I really enjoyed this book, it had really steamy scenes with Lily and Drake and some pretty interesting plot twists. It kept my attention and was enjoyable. I really had high hopes for this one as I'm a big Pamela Ann fan!. I love the Torn Series and the Chasing Series. If you haven't checked those out I recommend both. This series was just OK for me. I give it 3 stars. In my opinion there was really nothing that drew me in to love these characters. I think if there was a little more background or lead up tension between Lily and Drake then I might have been more into it. It just seemed kind of a stretch to be with someone once and 10 years later be that hung up on them. I still enjoyed it. It was an easy short read but just kind of feel short in the climactic category for me.
