3 INTERESTING START STARSI enjoyed aspects of this book. I like MC themed reads so always go into an MC book looking forward to it and knowing roughly what to expect. The style of writing threw me a bit. It is very fast and snappy. Once I adjusted to that it was fine. The MC Club itself is very divided and the Reed Brothers, Ford and Pax still see themselves as the outsiders in the gang and that vibe definitely comes through in the story. I'm just not sure if that might be detrimental to the reader being able to connect to the male lead characters. Also, Shay, the female lead, was equally difficult to connect with and her head was all over the place. For Me, both Ford and Shay were quite cold and detached. However, this is the first in a series and I always think the first book has the toughest job. The supporting characters were interesting and well written. Bebe and Darby in particular. I would read the next one just to see how the Club and its associates play out. There is lots of sex and swearing in this story so recommend over 18's only Wow - just wow!!! I can't think of any other mc book that has made me laugh or cry this much. I was laughing for like 2/3 of the book. The banter between the brothers (Ford and Pax) and then the banter within the whole community was just priceless. I actually had to stop drinking my beverage for the last half of the book because I was laughing so much. This book really knocked it out the park with it's heroine, Shay. She's not a victim. She's a young woman that I can totally identify with. Ford, was just an awesome alpha male who had multiple layers to him. I really want more books about this mc.
What do You think about Little Memphis (2014)?
Not at all what i was expecting and still was.... different but i'll probably read the next one.

A really good story line. Loved all the main characters and can't wait for more from Ms Hunter.

Now that I've finished the book I need to know what happens with Pax!
