I really enjoyed this mystery. The setting in upper Sweden was different and the person solving the crime was also. It's a reporter in this instance, not a detective. The story is fast paced and I liked the way that there was a resolution, or so one thought, and then another and another, so that the excitement built until the end. If you're a fan of Nordic mysteries, like I am, I recommend this author. It was difficult to follow the multiple storylines in the beginning. I'm sure this was exacerbated by my lack of knowledge of the Swedish language (with regard to names and places). So, it took some time for everything to fall into place and for connections to be made. As the stories combined toward the final climax, tension and excitement increased to a satisfying end. All-in-all, well constructed and worth the read.
What do You think about Lobo Vermelho (2003)?
Weer een leuk deel uit de serie met Annika Bengtzon. Veel politiek, maar ook privé problemen.

Slightly slow start; got riveting about half-way through.
