May contain spoilers-read at your own risk!I want to say that if not for the 'plot holes' I would've rated this 4 stars.This is a debut book, I believe, and all in, I did enjoy it. I didn't connect with the characters at all, which is why it took me ages to finish. It has a lot of plot twists and turns and lots of side characters that I honestly hated.Miller, in my opinion is a total tosser for allowing Grace to be used that way, and Grace has no decency about her at all, she is without doubt a true slapper.The only person in the book I could take was Ruby, I was gutted by her ending, but still don't know what she went away for?All the talk about email and cell phones from 16-20 years ago piffed me right off! Honestly, there wasn't that many average Joes who had access to such technology back then. Also how old is Grace? 40-something isn't an age, is it?What was the surrogate crap thrown in for? Will there be more books?The writing style was fine, and there wasn't that many grammatical errors to annoy me- and this is the reason that I would probably try this autor out again. DNF @ 75%I can't say this book is bad because it's not. About half way through I would give it 4 stars but it just lacks depth for me and it reads slow. I'm finding myself not really caring what happens and just wanting it to end so I can start something else. I can honestly say this is one of those instances where it's me and not the book. I can see where others would read it and give it 5 stars with no problem. I'm dad it just didn't work for me.

All in all a sexy, gripping read, but the wrapping up took way to long.
