This was a short, fun "in between" book. Kate and John attempt to leave their police world behind and have a mini vacation, but it just doesn't happen. It was an easy case with a shocking end and I'll admit I didn't see it coming. I actually wish this had been a full book complete with investigation of Tuck and various other characters. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to start reading the next! This is a very short story in the Kate Burkholder Amish Murder series, I held off on this one, because it was a short story, and I think it is only available as an ebook, not sure about that, but I finally went ahead and purchased it and had it read in less then a half an hour. My review of it is, it was just ok. I liked the outcome of the girl who was "Long Lost", but the story just abruptly ended all at once. Plus, I am just not a fan of short stories.
What do You think about Long Lost (2013)?
This was a short read. However still a great story by Linda Castillo. Liked the ending

Weaksauce short story, which ties up all too neatly at the very end.

Great short story with the same characters from her series.
