He looked like he was made of shadow, but I thought it was safe to assume he was solid enough to hurt me. I blocked with Animus, and when the swords collided, both of them glowed blue. I pulled her back and the light faded. For a second I looked at the shadow being and saw something that had to be surprise on his face.
