I’m just going to say it. I love anything that Jon Ronson writes. The blend of the absurd stories he tends to track down mixed with his own personal oddities and anxieties are a recipe for fun reading. From credit card fraud, to mysterious murders, to indigo children, to various religious cults, this collection of stories follows Jon on his quest to understand and explain the unexplainable. Delightful and eye-opening. This was a great summer read and I will immediately be acquiring and reading his other stuff. As someone who doesn't have big blocks of time to dedicate to reading, the bite sized stories were perfectly digestible during my spare time. The variety of the topics covered and the insight Ronson brings to those topics made it impossible to put it down mid-chapter. I would highly recommend this book. Make sure you have a loved one sitting next to you so you can interrupt whatever they are doing to tell them about interesting factoids and stories.
Yeah and I'm adding this to the list of reasons I am never getting on a cruise ship.
