Love Finds You In Snowball, Arkansas (2008) - Plot & Excerpts
This reminds me of youth retreats I had in winters & autumns as a teen, only thing is I never went on a retreat with my husband before we dated or anything (though I knew him then). This story shows a wonderfully close friendship between Lucy and Matt. Lucy wants to win over the heart of hottie Justin, but he seems so distracted by Wendy. They are going on a singles retreat with their church & Lucy is nearly 30 and will do whatever she can to get Justin to want her!!I knew what would happen in the end while reading the first chapter but the book was pretty good. Not my favorite from Love Finds You books, but it was cute and showed how God directs our lives as we put our trust in Him. I really enjoyed this book! Lucy is not a big fan of "outdoor activities"..but while on a Church camping trip, she tries to impress Justin ( a cute guy in her Singles Church group ). She learns alot about her self, her friends and what God plans for her future.This is a romantic book filled with humor and fun along the way.I liked how Lucy wrote in a prayer journal at the end of each chapter, this showed you more insight of what Lucy was thinking.

This was a cute book. I chuckled at some parts. The ending was amazing and romantic though!!
