Love In All The Wrong Places (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
I wasn't really a big fan of this book. I didn't like the writing style or how it seemed to just describe everything she did instead of having the book in first a first person point of view! Also Annie just seemed to desperate to me! She fell for everyone she met and had sex with them right away and got her heart broken! No wonder her relationships don't last! She gives it up to quick and falls too hard and too fast! I did think gabe was gonna last though! Turns out he's just a douche! I guess this just wasn't my type of book. 3.5 to 4 stars I thought this book was good, love the idea very intriguing, fresh and new. Annie's character is looking for love, she puts an ad out on Craig's list and is determined to find the love of her life. I liked her character, I thought she was cute and funny but doesn't always make great choices, she kind of puts her self too out there, she wants desperately to be loved. I thought some of the male dating scenes were a little too fast paced, besides Annie it was hard to connect with the other characters. Although there were some slow parts there were others that were glossed over. Annie sleeps around a little too much for my taste kind of turned me away a little bit but over all I enjoyed the story, good debut story.
