He waited at the stop sign as the man helped a dog out of the backseat. Duke? Johnny’s adrenaline spiked. He turned and slowed next to the car. The man grabbed the dog’s collar and glanced up at him, revealing his face under the lamppost. “Tony?” Johnny muttered. The man looked as though he wanted to run.
