I think I have whiplash from this book. The main character was frustrating in how she perceived relationships and herself. Within the same page, she would go from hating the guy to wanting to have sex with him. The plot was unique and interesting. I did enjoy reading this book and discovering the cat be mouse game. Although the main character wasn't my favorite, the story the author created was well worth reading this book. I wanted to throw this book, but it was on my kindle...so not a good idea. I have made it no secret that I like my vampires, werewolves, and all other supernatural baddies to be alpha males. Lucas is an Alpha, but also a pansy at the same time. Valerie was a whiny little (bleep). I just wanted to punch her in the throat. Everything was all about her. So much so, she couldn't see the truth to all the questions she had, being right in front of her. Jack was just an ass. Oh, there is a fricking cliff hanger at the end of this book, that will make you want to buy the next book. I fell for it hook line and sinker.
What do You think about Love Is Darkness (2011)?
This isn't exactly what I had in mind when beginning this book. I know there was a little lust in it but, it goes farther into it than I'm used to. A book not for virgins. The intensity and drama keeps you reading on till the final page and highly upset when it's done. I almost forgot about having others in need of reading first though. imagine I'll end up getting it in the next day because, I've waited a little while before writing this and still can't wait for more.
