I got this book from Amazon while it was free and while the story is okay I didn't feel it met the criteria of being placed in the Adult Contemporary Romance that Amazon or the Author placed it in. The story didn't read like an adult book and neither did the writing or really any of it I am sad to say. Although the mentality in my opinion seemed to suit the younger generation YA/NA the story itself and the characters just didn't make the cut. The plot, the characters and well overall none of it felt genuine. Although I can see the potential in the story I hope that either more is put into it or that it is shifted into a different genre because it didn't convince me and the characters didn't win me over. I'm not sure if I really loved the book, but I didn't hate it. Seem like there could have been more depth to the love between 2 characters. But, it seem to make a effort at points then pull off course just to get you frustrated. Main thing as in other reviews , there was A LOT of miscommunication or 1/2 heard conversations. Which caused characters to jump to conclusions there for creating A LOT of frustration for this reader. So, if you think about it maybe that was the point to feel the frustration with/for each character. Whatever the case I read this in 2 days so it kept my frustrated attention lol!
What do You think about Love, Lies & High Heels (2012)?
Totally unrealistic but a cute read even though highly predictable.

Predictable all the way through. I wouldn't read it again.
