“You always want what you can’t have,” this quote can be true depending on the person’s desire on what they want. Natalie is Jeremy’s girlfriend and Jeremy’s best friend is Matt, you can tell that this book is going to be a love triangle by the quote, inferring that it’s going to be a love triangle. As time passes love for each other can either get stronger or fade bit by bit, but for Natalie the situation is different, even if the feeling for Jeremy is fading she can’t leave him because his parents are getting divorced. Also, later realizing that she has fallen for Matt, her boyfriend’s (Jeremy) best friend, how will that work out? Dumping your boyfriend and going for his best friend, that doesn’t sound very nice, after all Jeremy is a very popular guy in school, gossip will spread out pretty quick. Later, Natalie’s two best friends are going out. Even though I can infer what this book is about by reading the quote, I’m still interested in what will happen to the girl (Natalie) and the other characters, the quote wants to make you want to pick up the book and read it to the end. For me, I think the ending is like a Cinderella, fairytale ending, every ones happy and got what they wanted. Jeremy and Natalie are the "it" couple yet Natalie has been noticing lately that somethings missing from their relationship... When she starts having feelings for Jeremy's best friend Matt she turns to an online teen love advice chat board to let her feelings out. I really enjoy this novel. Natalie is sweet and her reasons for trying to stick it out with Jeremy are commendable. However, it was pretty easy to see that Jeremy and Natalie were at the end of their relationship. The book was pretty easy to figure out. I did giggle often and thought that Matt was adorable. However, I never really felt a spark or a jolt while reading this story when the love interests were together. I think this had to do with the way the perspective of the novel was written, which jarred me out of the story at times. Overall, I thought this was a fun, easy read.
