Some last-minute business came up for Jerrick, so he won’t be meeting us in Skalage until early evening.” He stepped to the door leading into her room and shoved the curtains aside. “I’ll be down in the parking garage.” She watched his broad back through the glass while he strode across the room and exited into the hall. Ever since the strange scene in the bathroom yesterday, he’d been acting weird.
