Lynn Vincent is a great character! She's funny and interesting and marches to the beat of her own drummer without being one of those teen book characters who seem to do things for the sake of going against the grain. Lynn dresses...creatively...and is certainly made fun of at school by some of the more popular (mean) girls. She gets a chance to be GlITter Girls new IT girl, and it changes her life - maybe for the better and maybe not.Except for the unfortunate cover art that pushes this down to a younger than tween book, this was a cute little funny story with a heroine that every girl will like. This book talks about a girl, and how many people didn't like her because she 'didn't fit in.' She was an outcast to all the girls in her school, and the queen of her school, also thought she wasn't cool - just because her clothes weren't nice. She was rejected but - Lynn was very artistic. Her works of her hands caused her to have a lot of attention, gradually. I recommend this book because it teaches that everyone's unique in many different ways. We have talents, and we're all good at something.
